Ardian has acquired a minority stake in Wintics, a French AI solution for smart cities.
Wintics uses deep learning algorithms to gather data from fixed cameras installed on roads, buildings and elsewhere in cities. The technology can be used to optimize traffic management, reduce congestion and pollution, and monitor and integrate efficient soft-mobility solutions in cities.
Wintics began fundraising in the spring to scale its technology and accelerate its development in France and internationally.
