Ardian takes ownership of ICQ Holding in Italy

Ardian has acquired 100 percent of ICQ Holding, a diversified renewables platform with 198 megawatts of capacity, including 109 megawatts currently in operation and 89 megawatts under development, in Southern Italy

The ICQ Holding portfolio consists of 109 megawatts of operational assets, including six wind farms, two hydroelectric projects and two biogas plants, and an additional 89-megawatt pipeline of wind projects now under development.

Ardian acquired an initial minority stake in ICQ in July 2022. After the acquisition of the remaining stake from Italian Renewable Resources, Ardian has become the sole owner of the strategic renewable energy platform.

The transactions were made via Ardian’s Clean Energy Evergreen Fund (ACEEF), Ardian’s first open-ended clean energy fund, which was launched in early 2022.
