Michael Obhof has joined the Ardian Infrastructure team as a managing director for the United States. He will be based in the firm’s New York office.
Obhof brings extensive experience sourcing and overseeing assets across the transport, energy and telecommunications sectors. Most recently, he spent the past seven years in Goldman Sachs’ infrastructure investment group.
In the newly created position of managing director at Ardian, he will identify new investing opportunities as well as manage existing investments within the Ardian Americas Infrastructure Fund IV portfolio. He joins a global team focused on Ardian’s North American portfolio. Obhof will report to Mathias Burghardt, head of Ardian Infrastructure in Paris.
The Ardian Infrastructure global team manages a total of $16 billion and is composed of more than 40 investment professionals across eight offices throughout the Americas and Europe.
