Ardian has announced the appointments of Damien Braud as head of nature-based solutions (NBS) and Bertrand Monin as managing director of aDryada, a French company developing large-scale nature-based projects focused on biodiversity and maximizing positive social impacts.
Braud will be responsible for leading Ardian NBS activities, including the origination and execution of new investment opportunities, as well as managing and drive value-creation initiatives across the portfolio of projects.
Braud has deep experience working across emerging markets alongside different stakeholders including both public and private entities. Prior to joining Ardian, he was head of private equity Africa & Middle East at Proparco, a subsidiary of the French Development Bank, and previously regional director for Proparco East Africa, based in Kenya. Before joining Proparco, Braud was principal at Amundi Private Equity.
