ArcLight subsidiary, Infinigen Renewables to deliver solar plus battery storage project in Puerto Rico

ArcLight Capital Partners and Infinigen Renewables, a solar renewables company and a wholly owned subsidiary of a fund managed by ArcLight, have announced a milestone 15-megawatt battery-storage project paired with an approximately 32-megawatt solar project in the Yabucoa Municipality of Puerto Rico.

Infinigen is partnering with FlexGen Power Systems, a battery-energy storage integrator and software technology provider, to bring the project online.

This project expands Infinigen’s fleet in Puerto Rico to more than 100 megawatts, according to Leslie Hufstetler, CEO of the company. “Coupled with our development pipeline of over 1 gigawatt of renewable assets, it represents another step towards the strategic objective of being the leading developer and operator of solar and storage capacity in Puerto Rico.”
