Sequitur Renewables, an affiliate of ArcLight Capital Partners, has signed an agreement with affiliates of GlidePath Power Solutions to acquire five operating wind farms in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
The 185-megawatt portfolio sells power and renewable-energy credits into the merchant PJM market. Sequitur is also acquiring 80 megawatt hours of battery-energy storage development opportunities, in addition to the portfolio from GlidePath.
“ArcLight is excited to re-enter the wind market through the establishment of the Sequitur platform,” said Carter Ward, partner at ArcLight. “This platform follows prior domestic wind-focused investments in Leeward Renewables, Terra-Gen Power and CPV Wind.”
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
