Arcano Asset Management, the asset management division of Arcano Partners, has closed its Arcano Earth Fund with €215 million ($234 milion) in capital commitments.
Arcano Earth Fund is a fund-of-funds that invests in sustainable infrastructure in the United States and Europe. The fund invests in funds and joint ventures whose underlying assets are various projects of renewable energy and water infrastructure, transport and telecommunications.
According to Arcano, the fund has already committed more than 80 percent of its capital in the first year of its lifetime, spread out across 13 diverse investments that were carefully selected according to their different geographies, sectors and underlying funds.
