Aquila European Renewables Income Fund, having raised more than €154 million ($171 million) through an initial public offering, will be listed on the London Stock Exchange as an investment company beginning June 5, according to media sources.
The fund, managed by Hamburg, Germany–based Aquila Capital, reportedly will invest the capital in a portfolio of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind and hydroelectric plants in Europe.
It is only the fourth investment company to list on the London Stock Exchange this year.
Aquila Capital had €8.2 billion ($9.1 billion) in assets under management, as of December 2018.
