Apex Clean Energy has signed a power-purchase agreement (PPA) to supply 170 megawatts of renewable power to Facebook through the Lincoln Land Wind energy project in Illinois.
The remaining 130 megawatts from Lincoln Land Wind will be sold to another corporate offtaker to be announced at a later date.
The deal marks Apex’s third renewable transaction with Facebook in the past year, and makes Facebook Apex’s largest corporate customer by megawatt.
