Antin Infrastructure Partners raises largest fund of 2024 at €10.2b

Antin Infrastructure Partners has closed its fifth flagship fund at €10.2 billion ($10.7 billion), exceeding its fundraising target.

The new fund is expected to be the largest infrastructure fund to reach a final closing worldwide in 2024. Its size represents an increase of more than 50 percent from Antin’s previous Flagship Fund IV, which closed in 2020 at €6.5 billion ($6.8 billion).

Flagship Fund V was backed by existing investors, with a re-up rate of more than 90 percent, as well as new relationships. More than 120 new investors joined the fund, diversifying Antin’s growing investor base.

Antin said commitments from North America in the new fund were nearly five times larger than in Antin’s previous flagship fund. In addition, commitments from Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Latin America also significantly increased.
