Andrew Symons has been appointed managing director of capital formation and investor relations at Sustainable Development Capital (SDCL), a specialist global energy-efficiency developer and investor.
Symons was previously managing director at General Atlantic, where he led fundraising and investor relations for BeyondNetZero, the firm’s climate-focused, growth-equity strategy. BeyondNetZero made a significant minority investment in SDCL in 2024.
Before General Atlantic, Symons held senior investor relations positions at EQT and Summit Partners. He previously led and supported institutional capital raising mandates for a diverse group of private fund manager clients at Campbell Lutyens and Eaton Partners.
