Ancala Partners has announced two new partners as well as a slew of promotions in its investment team, following a sustained period of activity for the firm.
Tim Power, who joined Ancala in 2015, and Ankur Ajmera, who joined in 2016, have both taken up the position of partner. Ancala said both have played a pivotal role in identifying and completing investments, developing and enhancing Ancala’s investment team and helping to lead the firm’s broader recruitment program.
Power recently led Ancala’s investment in Norwegian supply base Fjord Base. The investment is helping the business to expand into new sectors, such as Norway’s offshore wind industry, hydrogen generation and ammonia bunkering. Power has also worked on Ancala’s investments in the SAGE terminal and pipeline, Dragon LNG, Portsmouth Water and Liverpool Airport. He works actively with each of these companies to support their growth plans.
