Ancala Partners is nearing the €1.28 billion ($1.36 billion) fundraising target for its Ancala Infrastructure Fund III, according to a Feb. 14 filing with the SEC.
The Ancala Infrastructure Fund III will target small to mid-sized Australian industry super funds in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. According to the filing, the vehicle has already secured nearly €1.1 billion ($1.2 billion) of capital commitments from 38 investors.
In 2020, Ancala Partners exceeded the fundraising target for its second infrastructure fund, Ancala Infrastructure Fund II, with a total of €735 million ($786 million) in commitments. The investor base consisted of a combination of European and international investors.
