AMP Capital finances GlobalConnect’s fiber roll-out in Europe

AMP Capital’s Infrastructure Debt team has closed a junior debt investment with GlobalConnect Group, a European fiber and data center services provider.

GlobalConnect, which was created via the merger of GlobalConnect and IP-Only, by EQT, services enterprises and consumers in Northern Europe. The group operates 74,500 kilometers (46,292 miles) of fiber and 28,000 square meters (301,389 square feet) of data center space. It also provides a full range of communication infrastructure services including bandwidth connectivity, colocation and cloud infrastructure, according to AMP Capital.
