African bank launches new investment advisory committee

The African Green Infrastructure Investment Bank (AfGIIB) has launched a new institutional investor advisory committee to provide an inclusive platform for the African and global asset-owner community.

This will, in collaboration with the African Union Development Agency (AUDA)-CBN, act as the institutional investor coordinating body for asset-owner initiatives leading up to COP 27, which will take place in Egypt in November 2022.

The board intends to design and showcase scalable, innovative, net-zero partnership initiatives and policy recommendations built around AfGIIB’s recently announced IIPP framework and model law that it will showcase at COP 27.
