Africa investor (Ai) has unveiled its first-ever African NDC Investment Awards shortlist.
These first-of-their-kind awards were sponsored by the African Green Infrastructure Investment Bank (AfGIIB), and are designed to recognize achievements across the main NDC project sectors and reward the governments, institutions and individuals driving transactions and improving the investment readiness of Africa’s NDC projects, which require $3 trillion of investment by 2030.
The shortlist was announced at the African Heads of State and Government-Institutional Investor Climate Finance Dialogue, co-organized with the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on Africa (U.N. OSAA).
The NDC Investment awards ceremony will take place on Nov. 8 at COP27 in Egypt.
