SLICOM, AECOM’s JV with managing partner Street Legal Industries, has won an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Department of Interior Bureau of Land Management to support the government’s Federal Orphaned Well Program.
The multistate, multiagency program, which is backed by $4.7 billion in funding through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), addresses the significant risks to human and environmental health from abandoned oil and gas wells in national parks, national forests, national wildlife refuges and other federal lands throughout the United States.
