Abu Dhabi Investment Council, the investment arm of the government of Abu Dhabi, has appointed Andrei Rotaru to global head of co-investments.
Rotaru previously served for more than nine years as principal at IFC, according to his LinkedIn profile. He also worked as a director of private equity at DP Holding and as a M&A director at Rompetrol Group.
Rotaru is a seasoned private equity professional with extensive experience in private markets investments, with a focus on infrastructure, real estate and financial institution groups, according to LinkedIn. He is currently focused on emerging markets, after having spent several years doing pan-European transactions.
