Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives (IEA) has been awarded a $50 million wind farm contract in Iowa.
Invenergy, a privately held global developer, owner and operator of sustainable energy solutions, awarded the contract to IEA for the construction of the 200-megawatt utility-scale Plymouth Wind Energy Center.
Work on the Plymouth Wind Energy Center commenced in April and is expected to reach completion in late 2021. IEA will self-perform all of the engineering, procurement and construction needs of the project.
To date, IEA has constructed more than 20 gigawatts of renewable energy projects across North America.
