Global investment firm Carlyle has closed its second infrastructure credit vehicle, Carlyle Infrastructure Credit Fund II (CICF II), raising approximately $2.3 billion in total capital commitments and exceeding its $2 billion target.
Carlyle said the fund is more than three times larger than its predecessor, reflecting the continued growth of the strategy, and attracted commitments from sophisticated global institutions across North America, Europe and Asia.
CICF II currently has a portfolio of six investments across North America and Europe with approximately $500 million of capital committed.
