Qualitas Energy, a global investment and management platform with a dual focus on both funding and developing renewable energy, energy transition and sustainable infrastructure, is acquiring Cero Generation’s core European platform from Macquarie Group.
Cero Generation is a European independent power producer specializing in the development, construction and operation of solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage system projects. The company operates an integrated, in-house model across the full project lifecycle, from development and construction through to operations. The business was established in 2021 by Macquarie Group and has since operated as a standalone Macquarie portfolio company.
