Envocore, a provider of energy-efficiency, water-infrastructure and utility-services solutions and a portfolio company of Power Sustainable, has been awarded a major role in the water meter modernization program of the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA).
Under a five-year, $129 million contract, Envocore will support the replacement of approximately 1.5 million ultrasonic water meters and the deployment of advanced metering infrastructure endpoints across Puerto Rico’s 78 municipalities.
The program is expected to provide PRASA with more timely and accurate information about water consumption across its system. Envocore will provide the field deployment and program management capabilities required to support implementation across Puerto Rico.
