Mayer Brown adds former chief counsel for CHIPS Program Office, Sven Hodges, expanding federal financing and infrastructure capabilities in Washington, D.C.

Mayer Brown has announced that Sven Hodges has joined the firm as a partner in its projects and infrastructure group in Washington, D.C., where he will focus on federal financing programs and infrastructure projects. In his prior role, Sven served as chief counsel for semiconductor incentives for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s CHIPS Program Office. He previously also served as an assistant chief counsel for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office (now Office of Energy Dominance Financing).

Sven brings more than 20 years of experience advising leading federal financing programs, private lenders and investors on complex financing transactions for a wide range of infrastructure projects, including in the semiconductor, automotive and energy sectors.
