Axium Infrastructure has announced that one of its managed funds has acquired a 49.9 percent equity interest in a 174.2 megawatt operational portfolio of wind assets located across three regions of France. The equity was acquired from la Banque des Territoires (Caisse des Dépôts). ENGIE Green holds the remaining 50.1 percent equity interest in the portfolio.
The portfolio consists of 22 fully operational wind projects distributed across the regions of Hauts-de-France (79.4 megawatts Nouvelle-Aquitaine (52.8 megawatts) and Grand Est (42.0 megawatts). The portfolio benefits from stable, long-term contracted revenues through French government-backed Feed‑in‑Tariff (FiT) and Contract‑for‑Difference (CfD) schemes.
