Denham Capital, a global private equity and credit infrastructure investment firm, has announced the appointment of Rick Drescher as an operating partner.
Drescher joins the sustainable infrastructure business, supporting the firm’s global investment strategy of deploying on-site, reliable power solutions to help data center developers and hyperscalers energize their facilities years ahead of full grid connectivity.
He brings more than 25-years’ experience specializing in mission-critical infrastructure and data center projects. He joins from Savills where he was co-founder and technical lead of the North American data center practice and has previously held senior technical and engineering positions at Studley, Pangaia Partners and Everest Broadband Networks.
Drescher will work closely with the investment and portfolio company management teams that are currently screening projects totaling more than 10 gigawatts of capacity to ensure high quality engagement
