CRPTF considers $350m of commitments for I Squared Capital infrastructure funds

Connecticut’s Investment Advisory Council (IAC) has reviewed up to $350 million in infrastructure commitments managed by I Squared Capital, according to official investment correspondence.

The Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Funds (CRPTF) intends to commit up to $200 million to iSquared Global Infrastructure Fund IV, a closed-end fund that invests in brownfield, renewable energy, transportation and utilities in Europe and the United States. The fund aims to raise $15 billion in total equity. The Arkansas Teacher Retirement System committed $75 million to the fund in 2025.

iSquared Global Infrastructure Fund III, its predecessor, closed with $15 billion in total capital raised, marking an oversubscription of its initial fundraising target of $12 billion.

The pension fund also plans to commit up to $150 million to iSquared Growth Markets Infrastructur
