The Los Angeles City Employees Retirement System (LACERS) has committed $80 million to the Nuveen Energy & Power Infrastructure Credit Fund II (EPIC II).
The closed-end fund will provide private infrastructure credit for energy infrastructure in North America and Europe, with a focus on energy transition, security assets and sustainable infrastructure. Earlier this year, Nuveen held a first close of the fund at $1.3 billion. The fund aims to raise $2.5 billion.
LACERS had $24.1 billion in total assets under management as of Dec. 31, 2024.
