The California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS) has appointed two new senior investment directors from within the pension fund, according to the board’s investment committee.
Kirsty Jenkinson became senior investment director of private markets and sustainable investment and stewardship strategies (SISS), as of August. She joined CalSTRS in 2019 as the director of SISS. Jenkinson has more than 30 years of experience in the global financial services industry, including investment banking, asset management, policy and asset allocation. She holds a Master of Arts in international history from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
