InfraVia becomes majority shareholder in Louis-Dreyfus Armateurs as new leader emerges

InfraVia Capital Partners, via its InfraVia European Fund VI, has acquired an 80 percent majority stake in Louis Dreyfus Armateurs (LDA), an industrial maritime group delivering services spanning ship design, management and operations in transportation, logistics, submarine cables and renewable energy.

The Louis-Dreyfus family retains a 20 percent share in LDA, and Edouard Louis-Dreyfus will remain president of the group.

With InfraVia’s support, LDA plans to invest €1 billion ($1.2 billion) in the coming years to more than double its fleet and accelerate its growth in technological innovation, energy transition, and the development of next-generation maritime services and navigation modes.
