BNP Paribas launches new climate infrastructure debt fund

BNP Paribas has launched an Article 9 fund, BNP Paribas Climate Impact Infrastructure Debt, which is seeking to raise between €500 million ($540.3 million) and €750 million ($810.4 million) from institutional investors.

The fund will invest in debt opportunities that support energy-transition projects, focusing on renewable energy, clean mobility and the circular economy, including sectors such as batteries, hydrogen and carbon capture.

The new fund will invest in continental Europe and has secured three investments already.
