Enfinity Global has acquired 546 megawatts of solar assets under development in Colorado — an attractive solar market that is mandating 100 percent renewable energy generation by 2050.
CS Energy sold the portfolio, which consists of three solar projects, for an undisclosed amount.
The portfolio is expected to start construction in the next two years. Once operational, it will produce 1,054 gigawatt-hours of clean electricity per year — enough to power up to 57,000 U.S. households and remove 101,500 cars from the road, according to Enfinity Global. Enfinity Global has an existing global portfolio of more than 17 gigawatts, including 7.3 gigawatts of energy storage assets and 1 gigawatt of operational assets. The company operates a portfolio of 400 megawatts and 28 solar PV power plants in the states of California, Ida
