Summit Ridge Energy (SRE) and Black Bear Energy have commenced construction on four industrial solar projects in Maryland totaling more than 17 megawatts.
Developed and owned by SRE and facilitated by Black Bear, the sites will generate more than 30 million kilowatts of electricity annually — the equivalent of powering more than 2,000 homes. The industrial assets are owned by LBA Logistics, a full-service real estate investment and management company.
The sites are located in the Belcamp and Rosedale communities and will be part of the Maryland Community Solar program, which provides low-cost renewable energy to local residents.
