Instar Asset Management, a private equity firm focused on North American middle-market opportunities in the infrastructure sector and other alternative real asset categories, has announced several new leadership appointments.
Jeffrey Lanes joined the firm in March as a principal on the investment team. Lanes was most recently with GIC in the direct private equity team in New York, focusing on healthcare and diversified industries.
In addition, Minnie Chan joined the firm in February as vice president, head of finance. She was most recently a director of finance with Altas Partners, a private equity firm in Toronto. Prior to that, Chan served as a senior manager at KPMG Canada.
Both Lanes and Chan are based in Toronto.
