Blue Pearl Energy, a European energy-services platform backed by DWS, has integrated Madrid-based Calordom, which specializes in central heating energy services, into its network of expert SMEs. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Calordom offers a wide variety of services, including heating-systems engineering, procurement and construction, boiler installation and maintenance services, as well as fuel supply. The company also is proposing long-term energy contracts to finance, install, operate and supply heating facilities for its customers.
In the current European energy context, biomass has become a competitive heating fuel option because it is sustainable due to its low price and stock availability. Calordom offers fuel alternatives with a steady supply of olive stone, peach, avocado, almond shell and pistachio.
