K2 Data Centres, a developer, owner and operator of hyperscale digital infrastructure assets in Europe and Asia, has formed a joint venture with Indonesian real estate development company Sinar Mas Land to deliver hyperscale data centers in Indonesia, according to Datacenter Dynamics.
The partners have broken ground on a first development, K2 Data Centre Jakarta 1 Campus (K2 JKT 1), with plans to bring it to service in early 2024. The campus will consist of four data center facilities and will deliver 58.8 megawatts of IT capacity at full buildout. The joint venture has a second campus development of similar scale in the pipeline, also located in Greater Jakarta.
