Google has plans to invest $9.5 billion toward offices and data centers across the United States in 2022. Google CEO Sundar Pichai said in a blog post that offices and data centers serve as anchors to local communities and their economies.
The firm plans to open a new Atlanta office this year, which is currently under construction, and continue to invest in its data center in Douglas County. Other states where the firm will continue to develop and expand office space and data centers include Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Nebraska, New York and Texas.
