by Kali Persall

Pufeng New Energy, a distributed solar energy platform backed by GLP, has completed grid connection for seven distributed photovoltaic (PV) projects in China located across Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Zhongshan, Dongguan, Jingmen and Nanning.

The batch of projects have a total installed capacity of 21.4 megawatts and include a number of third party–owned industrial and commercial rooftops.

“Accelerating the transition to renewable energy sources has never been more urgent and rooftop photovoltaic solutions can significantly contribute to energy conservation and carbon emission reduction efforts,” said Al Luo, general manager of Pufeng. “With our strong operational expertise, commitment to quality and high customer service standards, Pufeng is well-positioned to reach more of the commercial and industrial rooftop solar market, including large-scale manufacturing, commercial offices, data centers and other industries to reach a new carbon-neutral, digital world.
