Balfour Beatty has collected £20 million ($28 million) from the sale of its 70 percent stake in a women's and children’s hospital redevelopment project in Canada.
The sale of the BC Children’s & BC Women’s Hospital Redevelopment Project Phase 2 — Teck Acute Care Centre represents the first disposal from Balfour Beatty’s £1.1 billion ($1.6 billion) infrastructure investments asset portfolio since 2019.
The company said the secondary market for assets remains very strong and expects to dispose of additional assets in the second half of the year.
