Arcus Infrastructure Partners–owned Horizon Energy Infrastructure (HEI) and Good Energy have signed a partnership agreement to provide asset-backed funding for EV charging infrastructure in the United Kingdom.
As part of Good Energy’s One Point EV service, the groups said the funding will initially create financial flexibility and support for Good Energy’s business customers that are looking to install EV-charging infrastructure.
“We all want to see more EV charge points being installed across the U.K. and the sustainable funding options our partnership offers will allow more organizations to make a quicker and easier switch to EV,” said Tom Thorp, CEO of HEI.
HEI provides meter asset services to U.K. energy suppliers with a focus on domestic and non-domestic customers. Good Energy, a generator and supplier of 100 percent renewable power, currently owns two wind farms, six solar farms and sources electricity from a community of 1,600 independent U.K. g
