BSO partners with Australia’s Superloop to strengthen fiber network in Singapore

by Kali Persall

Telecommunications operator BSO has bolstered its Singapore network through a partnership with Australia-based network provider Superloop.

The project will provide the underlying fiber-optic infrastructure for an initial four Singapore major hubs located at Equinix SG1, Equinix SG2, Global Switch 1, and Singapore SGX.

“As bandwidth demands continue to grow, we are constantly scaling our capacity. The latest enhancements to our network are yet another example of how serious we are about providing businesses in Singapore with faster and more reliable connectivity,” said Stephen Wilcox, chief product officer of BSO.

The partnership is part of a larger initiative for BSO to increase its offering in the Asia Pacific market. The company has specifically identified Singapore as a major global telecommunications hub with highly developed connectivity.
