The New York State Common Retirement Fund (NYSCRF) has backed two funds managed by New York City–based infrastructure firm Stonepeak Partners.
NYSCRF committed $250 million each to the closed-end Stonepeak Infrastructure Fund IV (SIF IV) and Stonepeak Global Renewables Fund, according to an investment report for June.
NYSCRF joins a number of other U.S. pension funds that have backed SIF IV, which is reportedly in the process of holding a second close on more than $8 billion in capital commitments. Stonepeak could not be reached to comment on the fundraising status at the time of publication.
