Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI) has purchased a 45.5-megawatt PV portfolio in Poland from R Power.
A purchase price was not disclosed.
According to Renewables Now, the portfolio consists of 47 assets, which output an estimated 48,000MWh of energy per year, enough to power more than 20,000 homes and save 40,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
The assets are located primarily in the western and central part of the country.
The deal represents ASI’s third renewable infrastructure investment in Poland. In July, the firm bought a 42.37-megawatt solar portfolio in Poland from Sun Investment Group and E energija group. The portfolio consisted of 43 solar plants spread across the country, worth approximately 1 megawatt each.
