Fund manager Dalmore Capital and GLIL Infrastructure have partnered to buy, on a 50/50 basis, a 15 percent stake in Anglian Water Group from 3i Infrastructure. The sales price was £395 million ($529 million)
AWG manages water and water recycling services in the East of England and Hartlepool, and is the largest water and sewerage company in England and Wales by geographic area. Measured by Regulated Capital Value it is the fourth largest water company.
AWG supplies and services circa 2 million households and 124,000 business connections, delivering approximately 1.1 billion litres of water every day as the primary source. Its network includes thousands of square feet miles of water mains and sewers, and more than 1,000 water recycling centers and water treatment works.
