Later this month, many of us will convene in Toronto for VIP (Visions, Insights & Perspectives) Infrastructure. Looking over the agenda and seeing our dynamic line-up of experts, I wanted to provide a broad IREI perspective on each topic, which in reality is a reflection of our conversations with you, the readers of i3. I’ve spoken with many of you the past year and these are topics we’ve explored.

Evolution of Infrastructure

Infrastructure, while evolving, remains a relatively immature asset class. Is there a universal infrastructure definition? What should core attributes include? What are some types of infrastructure that have gone from alternative to mainstream?
