Xylem to acquire Evoqua in $7.5b merger transaction

Global water technology company Xylem Inc. has agreed to acquire Evoqua, a provider of mission-critical water and wastewater treatment solutions, in an all-stock transaction reflecting an implied enterprise value of $7.5 billion.

The combined company, which joins Evoqua’s solutions and Xylem’s portfolio of solutions with advanced water and wastewater treatment capabilities, will be uniquely positioned to develop and deliver an even more comprehensive offering of innovative solutions.
