U.S. DOE names FLO a founding member of EV-charging effort

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has named FLO, a North American electric vehicle- charging company and a smart charging solutions provider, as a founding member of a new effort to develop EV-charging solutions in the United States.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has named FLO, a North American electric vehicle- charging company and a smart charging solutions provider, as a founding member of a new effort to develop EV-charging solutions in the United States.The goal of the National Charging Experience Consortium (ChargeX Consortium) is to ensure public charging stations function more reliably for drivers. FLO, along with members of the ChargeX Consortium, will work to measure and identify opportunities to improve customer experience with public EV-charging infrastructure. This goal complements federal requirements of greater than 97 percent uptime to ensure customers can successfully and seamlessly charge at public charging stations.
