The Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System has committed $200 million to Quantum Capital Solutions II, confirmed Shelli King, communications director for the Tennessee Department of Treasury.

QCS II is managed by Quantum Capital Group, an energy-focused private equity firm focused on the energy industry and helping finance new oil and gas wells and other energy assets, according to The Wall Street Journal.

As of June 30, 2023, 23.32 percent ($15.14 billion) of TCRS’s $64.9 billion portfolio was allocated toward private equities & strategic lending.
