Slate Asset Management, a global alternative-investment platform targeting real assets, has launched an impact-investment strategy targeting infrastructure assets that advance the global energy transition.
The strategy also will target infrastructure assets that drive reductions in carbon emissions associated with cities and communities.
In conjunction, Slate has selected Christian Schmid to lead the new Cities and Communities Impact Infrastructure Strategy as managing director and global head of infrastructure. Schmid entered the role on Feb. 21 and is based in the firm’s London office.
