Shell is considering expanding its wind power business in Australia as part of a push to diversify away from fossil fuels, according to Bloomberg.
Shell made its foray into Australia’s wind power market in March with the acquisition of a 49 percent stake in WestWind Energy Development.
The partnership aims to progress and grow WestWind’s existing 3,000-megawatt pipeline of Australian renewable energy projects in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland over the coming years.
