Cokenergy, a project within SDCL Energy Efficiency Income Trust’s (SEEIT) Primary Energy portfolio, has renewed its long-term contract with Cleveland Cliffs at the Indiana Harbor Works East steel mill.
The Indiana Harbor complex is one of the largest integrated steel-making facilities in North America, according to Indiana Harbor’s website. Located in East Chicago, Ind., 20 miles southeast of Chicago, Indiana Harbor is a diverse facility capable of making a full range of flat products and is a leader in the North American development of new automotive products. It is a primary supplier of coils to Cleveland-Cliffs Tek and Kote.
